WHAT IS CERAMIC COATING?
Simply put, Ceramic Coating is a product that provides protection from environmental hazards and makes your vehicle easier to clean. It is a liquid polymer that is applied by hand to the exterior of a vehicle. The coating chemically bonds with the vehicle’s clear-coat, creating a durable layer of glass-like protection. While old-fashioned wax would wash off every few months, Ceramic Coating is semi-permanent. It provides UV, Scratch & Environmental protection for years!
What are the benefits of Ceramic Coating?
As your vehicle is exposed to the sun, the paint begins to oxidize, resulting in dull and faded paint. Ceramic Coating protects the vehicle’s paint from the sun’s ultraviolet rays, eliminating the possibility of oxidization.
Protection from Environmental Debris
Your vehicle is exposed to many contaminants; road salt, tar, bird droppings, minerals and acids from rain, etc.. Ceramic Coating contains Silica & Titanium that is resistant to most chemicals. It keeps environmental debris from bonding with your paint and allows it to be easily removed in a timely manner.
One of the most significant features of a Ceramic Coating is that it is hydrophobic. When a Ceramic Coated vehicle is exposed to water, it beads instantly and runs off. This means that mud and grime will have a more difficult time bonding to your vehicle’s paint, and when you wash your car, contaminants can be removed with less effort.
Depth and Shine
Ceramic coating adds a layer of depth and clarity to your paint.
It’s like a layer of glass over your vehicle that enhances and magnifies its brilliance.
Added Resale Value
Let’s face it, the first thing you look at on a previously owned vehicle is the condition of the paint. When the time comes for you to trade in or sell yours, it will still have that factory shine and
impress even the most discerning eye.
Helps prevent “Burnt Brake” wheel discolouration
Ceramic Coating is extremely resistant to high temperatures. It can be applied to the wheels of a vehicle to protect them from “burnt brake” discolouration. A simple wash will remove the contaminants and return your wheels to their original shine.
